Level 1

Mission Resources

For each mission in a Level 1 adventure, teachers have access to a Mission Presentation lesson designed for classroom use. These presentations are closely aligned with the app missions, giving students structured opportunities to practice new words and sentences before or after using the app.

Level 1 resources are listening-focused, with 2 key words and 2 sentences per mission, alongside recycled language to reinforce learning and build confidence.

To support easy delivery, teaching notes are included with guidance on lesson flow and activity ideas. Each mission also comes with supporting resources—including a dialogue worksheet and vocabulary image cards—to extend practice and help students connect spoken language with meaning.

Story Package

Each Level 1 adventure includes a two-lesson Story Package designed to review language, build comprehension, and introduce students to the basics of storytelling.

Lesson 1: Story Review
Students revisit adventure language through a story that highlights setting, characters, and plot. Supporting resources include a worksheet and story cards to reinforce story structure and content, plus a story video that can be used for independent listening practice.

Lesson 2: Story Planner
Students practice creating their own stories using a highly scaffolded planner lesson. The planner guides them step by step, with worksheets and vocabulary cards provided to support language use and creativity.
